The New Sign

As you can see, the new sign is excellent.

It was created using traditional methods in someones shed, hence the slightly squ-iffness of the lettering. This was deliberate. The clubs maintanance and ground development committee felt that a state of the art, modern design would not fit in with the authenticly rustic nature of our pavillion. Therefore it was decided to make a slighly crap sign instead.

From design, to implementation, through to final artwork and installation the Sign has been a whole winters work in the making.

As you can see from the pictures below, the contractors had a marvellous mornings weather on Sat 10th March 2007 when the sign was erected. The sign was precision engineered and built to last at least 3 years of roof signage. By this time it is hoped that another sign will be created in someone elses shed.
